Dr. Yana Todorova was born in Bulgaria, Eastern Europe. She grew in a family where food was the center of all reunions. She comes from a family of great cooks and foodies. She speaks Bulgarian, Spanish, English, and French . She studied at the Universidad de las Americas in Puebla, Mexico. She obtained a BS and MS in Computer Engineering from this institution. Later, she moved to USA to pursue her Ph.D. in Computer Science at Texas Tech University. This is where she met her future husband. She started cooking everything from scratch and it became her real passion: she created new recipes, wrote in a blog and magazine, invited people over for entertaining. She was hoping one day she could attend culinary school. Afterwards, she and her husband moved to Bakersfield, California to teach classes at California State University. After their triplets were born, Yana was finally able to fulfil her passion. The whole family moved to Thailand and she studied basic, intermediate and advanced Patisserie at the most prestigious culinary school, Le Cordon Blue Dusit in Bangkok.
